RISO print of Japanese yuzu wine

RISO print of a Japanese Yuzu wine by Swiss artist Nina Wick in A5 format (14.8 x 21 cm).

Yuzu is a cross between a lemon and a tangerine and has been cultivated in Japan for thousands of years.

On a trip around the world, the artist found food packaging with special designs at markets. She turned the most beautiful pieces into illustrations on Pixelmator and printed them using the RISO process. Risography comes from Japan and uses individual layers of color to produce unique pieces similar to screen printing. The prints are all slightly different and numbered on the back.
